Wheelchair
travel :Travel 4000 has a variety of 6,7,8 and 11 seat
vehicles, several of which are wheel chair friendly. We
aim to give a reliable, courteous service to all our customers
and are delighted to be able to offer them the opportunity
for disabled passengers and wheelchair
travellers together with their family and friends.
We
provide a very wide range of services from transport
for special occasions of all types, to local transfers
to stations, airports or just to visit friends. We also
offer a service for those customers who wish to travel
further afield both nationally and throughout Europe.
Travel 4000 will be pleased to quote for contracts and
journeys of your choice, for any distance.
Jim
and Lawrie who are long standing pals started separate
travel businesses at approximately the same time and
very quickly began to share their workloads. It soon
became apparent that they worked well together and Travel
4000 was born.
Jim
is a Cornishman who worked at Compair Maxam Factory
for over 24 years. This was previously the Climax Factory
which developed the original rock drill. He sings with
their famous Male Voice Choir and possesses an impish
sense of humour. He has sung with the choir throughout
this country and has plans to travel to the USA with
them in 2001. He was a county councillor for 14 years
and has been a governor of several schools in the area.
Jim is a keen sportsman and has played cricket, football
and rugby for a variety of teams in the county.
Lawrie
is a cheerful, middle-aged Cornishman, born in Camborne,
who is a qualified professional tour guide and holds
professional certificate in national and international
road passenger transport operations.
Jim
and Lawrie run a comprehensive travel service and look
forward to your company on any journey of your choice,
long or short.
